Painted Prototypes based off of the Skottie Young designs of iconic Marvel characters, for Diamond Select Toys/Gentle Giant
I really enjoyed working on this line. Each required some interesting problem solving skills, trying to best translate a 2D cartoon image into 3D, and finding a way to seamlessly continue the same style to the backs and sides of each piece.

Work in progress of the Thing. I spent a lot of time on the linework. Instead of just following the sculpted lines, I carefully selected each line to paint, also adjusting the weight and curves to better follow the concept.
