PAINTED PROTOTYPE - Wonder Woman DCAU for Diamond Select Toys
Wonder Woman DCAU L3D painted prototype for DST/Gentle Giant. Lots of acronyms there.
Really like how this turned out, both the paint master and the production pieces. I tried to capture the style of the DCAU, which often had beautifully painted backgrounds, stylized highlights, and the soft shaded gradients you would see in old cartoons.
It's a fairly simple paint job, but really striking, and I think a lovely piece for any fan of the show.
Paint master turn arounds
Production piece. Unfortunately we didn't have a photographer in the office for a time so a number of paint masters were sent out and their production pieces had to be photographed for stylized photos.
Production piece. Our photographer did an amazing job with these, I love the backgrounds and lighting on them.
